Service Description

Time: Wednesdays & Thursdays, 6:30–8:30pm Age: 18+ If you’d like to focus on the pottery wheel, this course is for you. Designed for both complete beginners and those looking to develop their technique, this practical 5-week course will help you build confidence at the wheel and refine your throwing skills. Guided by Cáit, you'll be supported through every stage of the ceramic process, from preparing and centring clay to glazing your finished pieces. Over the course, you'll learn how to: Centre clay and throw a variety of forms on the pottery wheel Trim and refine your pieces once they have reached the right stage of drying Apply glazes and decorative finishes to your work Understand the firing process and how it affects the final result With plenty of hands-on practice and expert guidance throughout, you'll leave with a collection of pieces that reflect your progress and creativity.
