ELISSA SCOTT

Ceramic Artist, Teacher, & Studio Leader at Clydeside Ceramics

I graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2006 with a BA (Hons) in Design in Ceramics, and since then I have built a diverse career as both a practicing artist and dedicated educator. I have taught ceramics across a range of respected institutions and creative spaces, including The Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow Sculpture Studios, East Renfrewshire Council, EESAB France, and a variety of private studios.
 
 
Alongside teaching, I have developed and led art-based projects for clients throughout the Glasgow area, creating opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and personal expression within the community.

My own ceramic work has been exhibited extensively across the UK, including at the V&A Museum in London, leading London-based fine art galleries, West Kilbride Craft Town, and Paris.

I am passionate about community-focused arts practice and believe in the transformative power of creativity. I enjoy helping people of all ages and abilities discover new skills, unlock hidden talents, and build confidence through the rewarding experience of working with clay.
